As part of the 2021 building law offensive by the state of Upper Austria, the Upper Austrian Building Regulations 1994 (OÖ. BauO) were amended last year, which came into force on September 1st, 2021. For example, the construction of swimming pools, garden sheds and carports was made easier, but it also created the opportunity to combat “outdated” conditions and requirements in building site or building permit notices. The amendment also makes it significantly easier to set up hunting facilities for Upper Austrian hunters.
