Austria is introducing an innovative corporate form to promote start-ups and young companies – the FlexCo. According to the draft law, the new Flexible Corporations Act (FlexKapGG) should come into force on November 1, 2023 and promote individual design options for companies. This form of company is intended to be particularly tailored to the needs of young, innovative entrepreneurs.
As already announced in the government program 2020-2024, then under the working title “Austrian Limited”, after extensive discussions, the new Flexible Corporations Act (FlexKapGG) for the introduction of a new corporate form in Austria is now available. The goal is, among other things, to create a useful vehicle for start-ups.
