NEWSLETTER 07-2018: NEWS IN THE WORKING HOURS ACT AND THE WORK REST ACT
The amendments to the Working Hours Act and the Working Time Rest Act came into force on September 1, 2018. The most important innovation is probably the increase in the maximum working hours to twelve hours per day or 60 hours per week.
This increase is subject to certain restrictions, which we have outlined in our current newsletter, along with other significant changes.
The amendments to the Working Hours Act (AZG) and the Work Rest Act (ARG) came into force on September 1, 2018. The core of this can probably be called the increase in the statutory maximum working hours to twelve hours per day and 60 hours per week. In addition, the amendment also brought some other larger and smaller changes.
This newsletter is therefore intended to provide a legal overview of the significant changes and some provisions that have remained unchanged .
