According to the legal provisions, a testator loses the possibility of reducing the compulsory portion if he has avoided contact with a person entitled to the compulsory portion for no reason or has given a legitimate reason for the lack of contact.
The compulsory portion law guarantees spouses and children a part of the inheritance.
